How the Common Factor Calculator Works

The common factor calculator uses the Euclidean algorithm to find the GCF efficiently. For two numbers, it repeatedly replaces the larger number with the remainder when divided by the smaller, until the remainder is zero. The last non-zero remainder is the GCF.
