How the Weight Calculator Works

The weight calculator multiplies your Earth weight by the surface gravity ratio of each planet relative to Earth. Earth has a surface gravity of 9.81 m/s². Mars has 3.72 m/s², giving a ratio of 0.38. So a 150 lb person weighs 150 x 0.38 = 57 lbs on Mars.

Jupiter, the most massive planet, has a surface gravity of 24.79 m/s² (2.53x Earth). That same 150 lb person would weigh 379 lbs on Jupiter — more than double their Earth weight. The weight calculator shows all these comparisons in a clear table.
